The CRZ NakedFeel fabric comprises 71% Polyamide and 29% Spandex. It is offered in sizes XXS—4X in a 25" and 28" inch inseam and comes in over thirty color and print options. On their webpage, Crz advertises that the legging best suits hot yoga or Pilates. The fabric is sweat-wicking and promoted as a "no-fur-stick" for yogis with fur babies. The leggings offer excellent stretch and breathability at a hard-to-beat price in the $20-30 range.
The Crz NakedFeel has a 7/8 length, and we tested the 25-inch inseam; our primary tester is 5'7", and the leggings tapered right at her ankle. We love that there are no seams on the outer leg, so the smooth outer profile is relatively svelte.
Waistbands can distinguish between a pant that allows you to relax in a forward fold or a waistband that pinches you out of them, so you leave the painful pair to collect dust at the back of your drawer. The Crz NakedFeel is one of our favorite types of waistbands for deep stretches. The waistband is a double-fabric wall single band with no seam at the top; it provides moderate compression, which helps to keep things in place while still allowing you to breathe easily, especially during a heated class. The Crz NakedFeel waistband sits high on the hips and lands just above the navel on most testers. The seamless wrap never pinches, and unlike other waistband designs, it moves with your body during twists, bends, and rolling transitions. Dancing "The Worm" never felt so free.
The waistband includes a hidden pocket appropriate for a small set of keys, credit cards, or cash, but nothing as bulky as a wallet or phone. The pants are incredibly comfortable for all-day wear. The fabric is soft and has a slight sheen that sheds pet hair but isn't overly shiny like cheaper leggings. The seamless outer legs are very form-flattering and ultra-comfortable to move in. The seaming on these pants is minimal and tasteful, although we did not feel like the double seam at the waist was as flattering on the hips as single or v-shaped seams. Because the fabric is thin, we recommend wearing seamless panties, especially if you bought leggings in a lighter color, to avoid visible panty lines.
With 29% of the fabric being spandex, the Crz NakedFeel stretches in all the right places, and we had zilch issues during our bendiest moves, like eka pada sirsana (leg behind the head).
One of the reasons we love this legging for heated classes or hot yoga is that the elastic fabric is incredibly flexible. It also remains smooth when wet and doesn't feel sticky as we build up a sweat. Finding a fabric that feels good when doing the splits in a 90-degree room is challenging, but the Crz NakedFeel is as good as its name and feels great on your skin in any stretch.
The gusset is a long double, seamed h-shape that tapers down the inner thigh. In our experience, this is one of the best designs for a wide range of movement from the hips. Even when soaked with sweat, the leggings retain their shape and comfort level, so you can move through class without worrying about sagging or pulling the pants up.
Today's hot yoga classes, which can reach temperatures up to 105 degrees Fahrenheit, make participants sweat profusely. Luckily, the CRZ NakedFeeling Yoga is cut from lightweight, thin technical fabric that wicks sweat and drys fast after class.
The fabric is thin and lightweight with compression, suitable for challenging yoga flows and a solid pass of the squat test. In our tests, we drench each legging with a cup of water and allow them to dry in the sun. The Crz NakedFeel was one of the quickest to dry in this test and after a sweaty yoga class because of its excellent moisture-wicking fabric. Even when wet, the fabric feels light and airy. While some fabrics get sticky or pinch more when wet, these leggings still feel smooth on your skin when you enter a tricky move with sweat dripping from every pore. The form-fitting flexibility and breathability make them our top choice for hot yoga or sweaty yogis.
We found that the Crz NakedFeel fabric was resistant to pilling and excellent at shedding pet hair. The fabric never sags during all-day use and holds its shape in your most active practice.
One plus of these leggings is that we could have awarded them "Gold Star Leggings for Pet Moms." At the time of this article, the Crz webpage had before and after pictures of pet hair, including the phrase, "Easily pat it off!" We repeated the test with our favorite pooch and found the material highly pet-hair resistant compared to other fabrics. We loved how these leggings held up in the wash, as the resilient fabric showed no shine or pilling. Our market research found some reviewers noticed fraying seams, but we had no seam issues after two months of testing.
With incredible stretch, you can feel comfortable in the Crz NakedFeel any pose and slide into the splits without spitting your seams. It has a skin-kissing seamless waistband that moves with your body and is comfortable in active practices like Ashtanga or Power Vinyasa. Many leggings on the market are flexible but do not breathe, wick, sweat, or feel scratchy or sticky when wet. Even in a hot yoga sweat fest, these leggings feel lightweight and maintain a comfortable stretch when wet. They breathe in a hot room and were one of the quickest we tested to dry after class, making them our favorite for sweaty yogis and sunny hikes. Remember, ordering darker colors works towards hiding sweat stains.
