So far this is our favorite chalk bucket. Why? It follows that old adage of Delacroix: "Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler."
We see more and more hybrid chalk buckets that aim to do a lot of functions and end up compromising how well they work at the most basic feature: having a sturdy, durable bucket that spills as little chalk as possible. The Krieg has great stability: it won't slump over like many buckets. While few buckets are completely spill-proof, the Krieg does a great job of keeping the chalk in. You also get the option of customizing your fabric if you want the bag made-to-order. We have seen Krieg make bags out of old FedEx Tyvek envelopes. Krieg does one thing and does it well: make chalk bags and buckets. In twelve years they have made over 1,000,000 bags. OK, technically, they also make little bike bags for spare tires, etc. You gotta branch out eventually.
Chalk Leaks
There were no major leaks even though the drawstring opens and closes easily. That said, bags with drawstring closures leak a little bit if tossed around in a backpack.
Posture
This bag has great posture. It stands up nearly perfectly and does not slouch over.
Closure
The mouth stays open better than most buckets we have tested. Why? It has a burly thick nylon lip. A few other companies use similar thick nylon material for the mouth opening and they also work well.

Durability
Most durable bag we have tested. 300+ days of use and no big signs of wear.
